Meet "Mary, Ben, Ted and Obi-Wan"
February 24, 2012, Dog of the Day, Taurus Lake Travis | Comments (4)
This delightful family has been lighting up our facility since its very beginning, and we just wouldn't be the same without them. While under the care of Dr. Meyer at Lake Travis Animal Hospital, they discovered the happiness that came from bringing their beloved family pet to an enrichment experience all her own, and soon after became one of the very first families to join us as Taurus location. They soon realized how much she enjoyed coming to Taurus for play days and boarding, so Mary and Ben signed Obi up for our personalized training program, which she took to like a Lab to water! Armed with impeccable manners, and an impressive array of skills and talents Obi-Wan knows how to show the other pups how to make the most of their time at the Lake. Mary is confident that Obi-Wan is as happy as can be when she comes to Taurus because when the phrase "Would you like to go to Taurus?" is uttered in her presence Obi begins to wiggle, squirm and smile like a giddy teenager on her way to a party!
Huge fans of our brightly painted, private cabanas, Mary and Ben are confident that Obi-Wan is happy and comfortable while she's at Taurus, and never worry when they drop her off for a day or a week. While she's at home, Obi-Wan is a devoted family member, ready to help out wherever she can, including supporting Ben when he writes and films his nature blog called Commander Ben. We are looking forward to having Obi-Wan stay with us while the "Commander" goes to Washington D.C. to speak at the National Invasive Species Awareness Week! For more on Ben and his adventures fighting invasive plants, check out his fantastic blog at: http://commanderben.com/. Our Lake Travis location just wouldn't be the same without this friendly, outgoing and truly delightful family, and we are all looking forward to many more years together, sharing the company of a wonderful pup and the family that loves her.
