Office Hours

Mondays through Fridays:
7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Saturdays:
8:00 a.m. - Noon

Sundays:
10:00 a.m. - Noon
3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

(When we're closed to the public, we're devoting time to the dogs.)

Please note our check out times: Monday - Friday, by 10 a.m; Saturday and Sunday, by noon. If you pick up after these times, a daycare charge will be applied to your bill.

We typically do not offer daycare for 2-3 days before and after each major holiday (and all days between Christmas and New Year’s).  Please check with the front desk if you require daycare during these times.

Pricing and Payment

Play Day (Daycare) : $23 per dog, per day. You may also prepay for play day visits. 10 play day visits are $200 (a savings of $30).

Boarding: $34 per dog, per night. We do not charge for administering medications, feeding your dog his or her own food, extra toys, snacks, or treats. TLC, petting, brushing, and ball throwing is all included for every dog.

* A 30-day unlimited daycare pass that guarantees a play day spot for your dog every weekday: $400 (prepaid)

* A 30-day, unlimited daycare and/or boarding package that gives you the ultimate flexibility. This is a great solution to guarantee a spot for your dog when you have no idea what the month may bring: home repairs, business travel, out-of-town guests; we'll have a bed and a bone ready for your dog any time: $900 (prepaid) Includes one free nail trim and bath!

Board-and-Train: $1200—Includes the play day evaluation, boarding fees, playtime, training, personalized DVD, and four private follow-up sessions.(Payment plans are available.) Contact one of our trainers at taurus@taurusdogtraining.com for more information.

Puppy Consultations: $75—Start your puppy off on the right paw! Puppy consultations provide an in-home assessment of you and your dog’s relationship. This one-hour visit addresses house-breaking, jumping, nipping, chewing,socialization, and teaching your puppy basic commands. Policies

Taurus' policies are designed to provide the best service for you and your pet, and to promote our support of a healthy pet population. We adhere to the strictest veterinary and behavioral standards to ensure that every Taurus dog has every protection possible.

• All new dogs must undergo a temperament evaluation (attend day care) before they can board overnight or attend more day care.
  
  
• We do not accept aggressive dogs. (For aggression issues, please contact a trainer.)
  
  
• Dogs over 14 months of age must be spayed or neutered. Taurus has been an all-spayed and neutered facility since 1994. (Please contact Melanie McLeroy if you wish to discuss an exemption.)
  
  
• We will not accept dogs over 10 years of age.
  
  
• Client must have proof of current vaccinations (annuals and bordetella). We require bordetella every six months. If your dog is due, the vaccination must be given at least a week before coming to Taurus.
  
  
• Dogs are required to be on a topical flea preventative. If a dog has fleas or other external parasites, the dog will be treated at the owner's expense.
  
  
• Your pet's health is very important to us. If your dog needs medical attention, our first choice is to take your dog to your own vet. However, if this is not possible, we will make sure your dog receives treatment from a reputable medical provider. All medical charges that we incur are due when you pick up your dog.
  
  
• Owners are responsible for any charges incurred during the dog's stay, due at time of pick up.
  
  
• Pets must be picked up or dropped off during our normal hours of operation. Late fees will apply if an owner comes outside of our normal operating hours. If no authorized personnel is present, for the safety of your pet, we cannot release your dog.
  
  
• Charges are by the CALENDAR DAY. Check-out time is 10 a.m.
